This afternoon the Rail Tram and Bus Union (RTBU) advised Aurizon that it had withdrawn the proposed industrial action at the coal depots of Callemondah (Gladstone), Stanwell and Bluff, due to commence at 1200 hours on 26 February and to conclude at 1200 hours on 27 February.
Aurizon has no further notifications of industrial action, from either the RTBU or the Australian Federated Union of Locomotive Employees (AFULE), beyond those actions currently underway (see below).
Aurizon continues to be committed to bargaining in good faith with rail unions for new enterprise agreements.
Sunday, 22 February
The AFULE intend to undertake an indefinite overtime ban at the Goondiwindi depot commencing at 1200 hours on 22 February.
Monday, 23 February
The AFULE is undertaking a 24 hour stoppage at the freight depots of Fishermans Island, Townsville, Rockhampton, Emerald, Maryborough, Mackay, Longreach, Roma, Charleville, Toowoomba and Goondiwindi. This stoppage commenced at 1200 hours on 23February and is due to conclude at 1200 hours on 24 February.
The RTBU is undertaking a 24 hour stoppage at Coppabella and Jilalan depots commencing at 0001 hours on 23February and due to conclude at 0001 hours on 24February.
