Aurizon’s Containerised Freight Business is expanding, and we're seeking a dynamic Sales Representative with a background in transport logistics to grow our customer portfolio. You’ll leverage your knowledge of our service offerings to identify new business opportunities and foster strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working collaboratively with the team to expand our client base.
  • Client Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers to understand their business requirements and provide informed advice.
  • Problem Solving: Address unresolved or complex issues by seeking advice and developing solutions.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries promptly and effectively, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
  • Database Management: Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date database of customer information.
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads through prospecting, cold calls, referrals, and networking events.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to develop professional bids that align customer needs with internal commercial goals.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about market dynamics, competition, pricing, and industry requirements to enhance prospecting efforts.

About You:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal sales, with a background in transport logistics preferred.
  • Influencing Skills: Strong ability to influence, persuade, counsel, and motivate stakeholders, peers, and teams.
  • Customer Relationships: Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Communication Skills: High level of communication skills, including interpersonal, written, and oral.
