About the role: As a Training & Development Officer you will provide senior admin support in the maintenance of learning management systems; recording and storage of employee competency evidence; application of learning management system functions and the provision of outreach support. 

  • Facilitate learning management system (LMS) inductions to employees, supervisors and managers.
  • Set up and maintenance of LMS files for existing, new and terminated employees
  • Provide administration support to Trainers and Operations Specialist in reference to training documentation.
  • Process traineeship and apprenticeship government contracts and lodge with relevant departments
  • Provide operations managers with scheduling support for externally provided training sessions as required.
  • Report assessment evidence non-compliances and where appropriate assist in rectifying
  • Record employee competency records using CMS as required.
  • Assist in pre-audit (internal and external) preparations and participate audits as required.

About you: 

  • Experienced with Learning / competency management systems.
  • Advanced with Microsoft 365 packages (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, SharePoint and Outlook
  • Well developed oral and written communication skills, organisation and prioritising skills
  • Meticulous attention for detail and process follows through
  • Adherence to confidentiality and right to privacy principles
  • Ability to work unsupervised and make independent decisions as necessary.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with an ability to prioritise work activities, effectively manage time, be flexible and regularly adjust priorities as required
