About the role: Great opportunity for a heavy industry leader to lead the execution of wagon maintenance work and fleet reliability at our Narngulu depot. Leading a team of experienced Rollingstock Maintainers and trades, you will organise and allocate daily work whilst providing safety focused leadership.

About you: From a heavy industry background, ideally with rail experience, you have strong front-line leadership exposure and a demonstrated commitment to safety.

  • High level of skill in trouble shooting, fault rectification, minor repairs and the carrying out of preventative maintenance procedures on rollingstock or similar equipment.
  • Demonstrated line leadership skills including task assignment, communication, problem solving and performance management.
  • Ability to effectively engage team members, establish and sustain relationships, set clear direction and provide coaching.

Please note, this is a residential based role- not FIFO. Pre-employment checks including leadership testing, medical and reference checks are required to be completed.
